Description:

We are looking for an experience principal to lead a highly regarded, award winning international school, Singapore. The principal is responsible for the day-to-day management of a school campuses, including curriculum (CBSE, IB and IGCSE) development, student performance, and staff leadership. They are also responsible for creating a safe learning environment and will build upon the high performance culture within our school community.

Student Grade: EYFS, primary, middle-school, high-school

Requirements:

Education Required: 15+ years senior leadership experience
Minimum Teaching Experience: >5 Years
Qualifications: Master’s Degree

Responsibilities:

Leadership Leads the Academic and Non-Acadmic functions in the respective geography  Designs and delivers annual Acadmic priorities and organizational strategies in line with the organisation’s business plan  Aligns the campus’s mission and vision and designs policies, procedures and processes to GSF’s academic direction  Ensures the highests standards in the curriculum and pedagogy for the implementation of the curriculum, and timely interventions for curricular and pedagogical corrections
Financial Works closely with the Deputy COO and Country Director on the forecasting and budgeting process  Dicusses the previous years data to determine trends and makes predictions for the current year in terms of potential enrollments numbers and the various expenses, such as Human Resources, facilities, projects, academic resourcing,  Provides inputs to the staffing budget to ensure learning stardards will not be compromised
trategic  Identifies and communications key goals and performance indicators and sets measurable targets to evaluation staff’s performance  Develops, monitors, and reviews strategic plans and processes to best employ experise, talent and resources for the campus  Reviews succession plans for Coordinators Acadmice Operations:  Oversees the various curriculums in the campus (e.g. CBSE, Cambridge, International Baccalaureate, etc., where applicable)  Supports the National Head in curriculum planning and vetting  Facilities inter-campus projects, activites, or sharing sessions with the other GIIS camouses  Works closely with the National Head, Academics and Associate Director, Academic Quality Assurance to understand student achievements, results and feedback in the campus, and to identify areas for improvement  Provides assistance to the teachers in order to improve their teaching cabalities and instructional techniques  Evaluate teaching programmes’ relevancy and effectiveness relating to the development of students’ cognitive, physical, aesthetic, social and moral, and leadership capabilities
Non-Academic Operations Collaborates with the the Admissions Head to increase admission numbers and strengthen the campus’s reputation  Works closely with the Operations Head to ensure smooth operations in the campus, facilities and cleanliness are maintainted, emergency evauation procedures are developed, IT systems are up-to-date, etc.  Works closely with Human Resources for payroll, training and development and recruitment matters  Works closely with Finance on budgeting and fee collection
Team Focus Collaborates proactively with Human Resource to continuously increase competency within the campus to meet future needs through the development and recruitment of talent  Leads the recruitment, selection, orientation, and training of employees in the function  Builds and manages high performing teams within the campus by providing leadership, role clarity, training and career development
